Show apps in Task Bar

When I launch apps from TP, they don't show up in the Task Bar.  Seems that they only show in the Task Bar if I launch them from the regular Programs menu.

Is there a way to set up the apps in TP so that they will show in the Task Bar?  Or do some of the alternative Task Bar programs fix this?
