I believed they all are TP skins and included in ET skin.
And you only can run one skin at one time.

I got the ET skin but not the others...  but I got the 20.00 one... you could be right they could be different skins, but it looked like plugins to me.

Yes, based on the information from Handago. TP is required, so they are TP skins.  And if you have ET, you should not need the others.  Just state the facts and nothing else.

Just to make it clear... I did not say that Corbut was bundling TodayPlus with the skins... "I said basically bundling..." meaning that if you do not have the program he would supply it to you... I think anything other than saying he is bundling it would be splitting hairs...

Ripper, do you know that he is actually giving out the program? Maybe he is just telling people what to search for to find it.  In the line you quoted, he doesnt say he is giving it out, just that he will help install it:

Also, has SRS actually made a public statement? The only thing I can find anywhere is the statement made by PDA Corps stating what SRS allegedly told them. Barring the hearsay, if there is no public statement, how can any of us know for sure what SRS wants?

I still don't see anything wrong with giving out a program that was 'free' even if it was meant as a beta version.  I could potentially give people copies of TP12 now,.... would that be wrong?  

And Corbcut is NOT selling TP.  He is selling the skin.  No matter which way you look at it.  Yes he is benefitting from the program... but so are all the skinners out there who sell skins for Dashboard and Wisbar Advanced.  WA is a free program too...  does that mean people should not sell skins for it, or maybe give a copy of WA to people who buy their skins? And Dashboard is commerical... does that mean skinners who sell Dashboard skins are infringing copyright??  I don't think it does....  The skin is an entirely different component than the program.  And a program listed as 'freeware' whether it's beta or not, is freely distributable... whether or not the person distributing it is also selling a skin for it.

As for distributing TP12.... I still have yet to find somewhere that sais yay or nay.... nothing to either side from SRS or anyone else.  Obviously since this forum still exists and everyone continues to make skins, and are willing to help people acquire it (via Google or whatever), then you are all condoning people being able to obtain the program.  So I do not see any difference between my getting it from Corbcut, or if I'd stumbled on here first and took your advice and got it through Google.  (btw I did eventually find it on Google... after searching through about 20 pages I found a link to another forum which had the link to download version 12)

The whole issue now is.... does SRS want everyone to stop distributing it period?  Discussing and distributing are two diffeernt things.  And if that's the case, then NONE of us should be using it at all... or helping others get a copy (by whatever means!)  Until there's something concrete written to either direction, then Corbcut is doing nothing wrong by distributing a freely distributable program!  (Though he should mention that it's a beta version)

Anyway... don't want to tick anyone off...  It's just my opinion.

I just pointed out the facts that you did receive TP 0.12 from LT.  

Whether LT should distribute the TP for his own profit, that leave other people to make judgement.

Point of information - AFAIK the skins that LT is selling incorporate the ability to add plugins from within TD+. That means that you need v0.12 to run his skins since only v0.12 had this feature. Make what you will of this.

Long time since I've been on a TP forum.....

There's been much discussion in this thread about whether or not Corbcut (who was known as LordTwisted on the original TP forum) should be distributing TP, or offering to help with such distribution. In addition, though, I have always had some concerns about his selling the "Everything Today" skin. Why? Because in the original TP forum, people shared ideas freely, and lots of skins incorporated other people's ideas (as Wichtel has cheerfully admitted applies to his Hammerskin). There's no doubt whatsoever that LordTwisted was one of the most talented skinners on the site, but can he honestly say that no-one else ever gave him an idea that ended up in Everything Today? I'm not claiming that I did so (in fact, I'm sure I didn't) - but can he really claim to have thought of every concept that is embedded in his skin? Maybe that kind of thing happens all the time - but IMHO, it sucks !

During the days of TodayPlus's development, we had a "Beta" group.  Basically, a small number of select members would be given access to the latest version that SRS had developed prior to releasing it to the world.  At the time, LordTwisted (aka Corbcut) was a member of this group and so was I.

The forum section for this group is now hidden to all except for the members of the Administrator group so you will have to take my word for it.  There is a post from "arbitrajeu" detailing conditions of being a member of the "Beta" group.  "Arbitrajeu" was asked to make these conditions from SRS.  One of the conditions is:

Do not distribute pre-release versions of TodayPlus outside this forum - srs will release it to the wider public when he's comfortable it is functioning to his satisfaction.

SRS, never released v0.12 to the world prior to his departure.  So yes, LordTiwsted distributing v0.12 is a violation of SRS's wishes.

So basically he should be giving Version 11.... but to my understanding, the plugin functionality of his skins require version 12.  Does anyone know for sure if Lord Twisted actually spoke to SRS (maybe outside of here) and asked him if it was ok to give out now??  Maybe since SRS abandoned the project, Lord Twisted might have asked if it would be ok via email or something??  (u never know...)

Anyway.... in my opinion... version 12 works great!  I never had any probs with it!  So functionality wise, I think SRS *should* be happy with it functioning to his satisfaction, then again he might have higher expectations for it, but I never had a single crash etc with it.  The RSS and weather updating only by a manual sync, is the only thing I can think of and thats small, its too easy to sync manually once a day to get the news and weather.  

Ok so knowing that he doesn't want this version distributed, I will keep it to myself then.  Though I am still going to use it I can't do without it now! hehe  but I will note any and all errors etc that I find (if any) and post them here to do my part (I know I am not part of the 'official' beta team but humor me, it will make me feel less guilty for using it, and I have beta tested other software before).

And I was answering a question posted by "Synergie" and not your question.

The last posting I am aware of by SRS anywhere, was when you and he had that heated discussion over at Brighthand (I am not bringing that up to get that going again just as a mater of fact).

To date, the closest comment I am aware of from SRS regarding TodayPlus directly was BenL's (BTW, the site owner of PDA Corps) post.  I wouldn't worry too much about trusting BenL, in my opinion he is very trustworthy.

Of course, we would all love to see a post from SRS stating how he wants us to handle TodayPlus.  If he told me, he wishes the forum would be closed; I would close it.  If he told me, he wishes everyone would stop running TodayPlus; I would stop.

At this point, he is obviously aware that people are still running TodayPlus regardless of the expiration date and he hasn't commented on it publicly.  Not that that gives use permission to continue running it, but he hasn't said stop either.
