Some good news on RSS stock quotes

Hi,

i posted a question earlier on any of you discovering problems on updating the stock quotes on xanadb via RSS.

I contacted the administrator of providing this free service. The reason behind the difficulties were apparently the fach that he changed the ordinary format to html format I forwarded the syntax string to him by request. It appears that he has been so generous to make the necessary alterations to his service, so that it is possible again to read stock quotes via the TP syntax. I've tried it and it works for me again - i can read the quotes as i sued to. Its even possible now to multiply your number of shares to the shareprice, calculating the numerical value of yor shareholding in the corresponding share (read more about this new feature on xanadb).

I really wanna thank the guy for this exceptional nice gesture and its truly appreciated. I can only forward my greatest appreciation to the guy.

I confirm that stock RSS feeds are displaying properly again.  Thnx for helping to make this work again, Jorn.

I noticed the change too, but was hoping that it would show the gain or loss for the day...

Would be a nice feature!  I know it has been asked before, but I thought I would ask again.  We need someone to write a custom rss feed for us!

I saw in the xml code that is generated, that the gain/loss is there, but buried in the description...

I have KPN.AS and other .AS in my stock feeds.
.AS stands for Amsterdam Exange and the stocks are in euro's.
From the rss feed i get a dollar sign and the value is in euro's,
Not a problem if you know this but,
can i get a € sign in sted of the $ sign?
Who know's how?

e.g. to monitor Apple, Microsoft and Redhat use...

...or if you want to monitor the value of a portfolio

(e.g. If I have 1000 shares of apple, 500 shares of microsoft and 200 shares of red-hat - I wish !)
