POOM: tasks count

Is it possible to imitate the PPC2002 Today Item "Tasks". I'd like to be able to display the count for active, high prio, due, overdue. If this is not possible with TodayPlus, with what other tool can it be done?

I've been looking in this forum for about an hour, but can't find an answer to my question.
