Hammerskin US (modified skin)

First off, my thanks goes out to Wichtel for creating this amazing skin!  This is the first skin that I've used that I didn't create myself.  I decided to make a few minor tweaks to the English version of Hammerskin to make date, calendar, and time formats more U.S. friendly.  I also realigned or altered some text to make the layout more pleasing to myself.  Another change I made was to make the skin more compatible with different Today themes.  Text color now changes to match the Today theme being used.  I also use the Stardock weather images by default in this skin.

*Update: I've made the corrections to this skin included in the original V1.04a as well as made many fixes and enhancements.  The most notable change in this modified version is the slightly altered layout of the main screen.  I removed the time (I always have a clock on my top bar anyway) and shifted around some text and the backlight button to make more room for the Agenda.  This allows up to 3 days with 1 item each, or 1 day with 6 items to be dislpayed.  I've also made all text and lines suspended on the background dependent on the Today theme's color scheme.  I fixed a bug in the skin which didn't allow completed tasks to immediately be crossed out.  I've also made many small corrections to graphic and text placement to make the skin more symetrical and "clean".  I've also changed page refresh times to work better.

*2nd Update (10/07/2004):  I fixed a bug where the second city's name on the weather menu wasn't displaying correctly.  Also made a few other minor fixes.

*3rd Update (12/14/2004):  Updated the skin to V1.05.4.  I included most of the new features in the original Hammerskin V1.05.4, with a few modifications that I felt worked better.

*4th Update (01/04/2005):  Updated the skin to V1.05.5.  Fixed reset button in Appointments and Tasks regions.

*5th Update (01/06/2005):  Updated the skin to V1.05.6.  Fixed "Back to RSS" button in Stock Charts.

I even think that you were involved in the development of the Hammerskin substantially. The first Skin which I used were Logika and OSX complete Skin.  I have put together a personal one for me from these both and shares of it has been used, in the Hammerskin. So you also have indirectly been involved in the development of the Hammerskin

please correct me if i'm wrong, but the only difference in the reduced version is that it takes up less screen space, right?

Yes, that´s right, you have more Space for another Today Plugin

Rotlaus will update (1.04a) the reduced Version this weekend. Then he will post an own topic of the Reduced version

On the main screen, how do you get the letters for days of the week represented on the calendar?  I really like that, but can't seem to figure out to make the days of the week be shown.

in the config:general->day abbreviations->edit
give each day the letter you want to represent it
i suggest capital letters

I've been busy lately and just got around to downloading v1.05 yesterday.  It will take a while to make all the adjustments, but I'll see if I can get around to it sometime this weekend.

How about putting in your OSX agenda (just the agenda and tasks) to fill the current agenda/rss part?
