nas, good news and bad nes for you.  I can download all the image you want without any problem.  That is good news.  The bad one is now Rotlaus came out this great exe, it is better to merge this into his new one.  That means you have to wait.  But, I can send you the old usineg EzDownload, if you want..

nas

uk_skinner,

many thanks. I agree and will be waiting.

Good to hear.  :D

On my ToDo list:

- Put a little Frame about my Download Window
- location of radar.txt depending of location of radar.exe
- Do more extensive checking on the config File (for more failsafe)
- Handle Dynamic URLs
- Skinnable? Is this needed? (Only thing I can provide would be a little background image if you wish)

Did i forgot soemething?  Comments on the above Points?

Greetings,

Andre

Andre:

Lookd this list will keep you busy for a while.  The link from wetteronline was a little bit complicated for the ones nas requested.  So the format could be tricky in a way.  But I have confidence in you.  Go Rotlaus!!!

uk_skinner

While Rotlaus is going to make his version of radar.exe even better, I would like to test the idea to download "dynamic url".  I put a new exe named "wetteronline.exe".  It will read the configure text file named "wetteronline.txt".  In this text file, the first line is the type of image you want to download and the second line is the file pathway.  If you open the text file you will know what I meant.  It looked like this:

niederschlag
/Programme/TodayPlus/Images/Radar/wetteronline/niederschlag.gif

nas told me the "niederschlag" is raindrop, right?  I believed the image is updated every 30 min however, I have not be able to pin-point the exact time they post on the web.  In the text file, I basically put all the type there except there is one is table not image.  I put all the type I found from the right side in this site, http://www.wetteronline.de/cgi-bin/aktframe?LANG=de&TYP=temperatur&ART=bild&JJ=xxxx&KEY=DL.

To run it you have to put both exe and txt in the same folder and just tap it in file explorer.  At the end of download, a window will pop-up and tell you what the update time.  The minutes of update will be either "00" or "30".  If you can let me know to see the time is matched to the latest one posted on the site, that will be very helpful.

nas, there will not be a problem for your first and second image, don't worry...

By the way, you need "EZdownload" in /Windows.

Thanks a lot.....

Hi, uk_skinner.

8.48          /  8.30
9.21          /  9.00
9.31          /  9.00
9.41          /  9.00
9.46          /  9.30
9.51          /  9.30.

I hope it will help you.

nas,  Thanks for testing.  Would it be possible the updated one was not available at that time?  It is tough for me to test here becuase the time difference unless I switch the time zone to yours.  Would you or someone else (Wichtel, Rotlaus..) please post it on the German site and let me know any comment or suggestion from other people.

Broesel, I did not forget you, I will try to complie the ppc2002 based on the Rotlaus's instruction..

Edit:  Here is for PPC 2002.  It worked on my device too.

nas, did you use ActiveSync to connect internet?  This was happened to me before, at that time I was trying to download 24 images and only could go through 3 times (3x24) then no image files can be downloaded any more.  However, when I switch to wi-fi, up to 11 times was no problem at all.  I hope the new version Rotlaus is working on can solve this problem..

nas

Yes. I am using ActiveSync.

nas

Ok, your finding was consistant to mine.  Somehow, the connection to ActiveSync got "partial lost" after too many downloading.  I wonder this is the general problem of ActiveSync or not.. :(

nas

I just tried it 7 times with WLAN - everthing was correct.
