Hello there...OK ...I've managed to load your beautiful skin onto my dewvice, and as you can see from the screenshots, things appear to be somewhat small! Is that the size the icons and images are supposed to be? And also the text appears too small to be read comfortably. If this is how it's meant to be then OK...I'll have to make do eith it. But I thought I'd just check with you in case I'm missing something.  As I said before, I really love this skin   and after all the hard work you and others put in, I'd hate not to have it because of some glitch.

You said you also have aa iPaq HX4700...is this how it looked on your PPC?

In your second image, there is a girl on the far left of the screen.  If you'll click on her, your icons should resize to the correct size.  It's an FE vs SE thing.  There is a way in the code (and I have it commented) to have it default for a SE PPC.  Let me know if you need more data.  I can look it up when I get home.

  I don't have the great theme as yours.  But this is 2B-VGA (with small modification) on my hx4705.  I don't know why my screenshot looked bad, but you should get the idea.

In your second image, there is a girl on the far left of the screen. If you'll click on her, your icons should resize to the correct size. It's an FE vs SE thing. There is a way in the code (and I have it commented) to have it default for a SE PPC. Let me know if you need more data. I can look it up when I get home.

Yes...I just about managed to see her...clicked and the icons resized as you said. However, is there any way to make the text size a bit bigger, also the colour of text on the  left is too dark to see. Can you see in my image what I mean?

Also, under the icons in the top row, is that writing underneath them? I can't quite  tell as the colour seems to be white against my light background.

Also, I get no weather infomation. I've entered the co-ordinates in the registry, chose london in the config (thanks uk_skinner for helping me there!), I have the internet connection, but still no info! Any ideas.

I think I'm getting there though with you guys help.

I've checked this directory and it's empty! The file you mentioned isn't there. What should I do?

No...I don't! I just use broadband from my home! As I said, I now get a list of countries to choose from when I enter LONDON in the search box, and I choose the appropriate one. Is there something else I should do?

By the way, you can try Hammerskin 1.05.6 VGA..

Did as you said...still no joy! BTW...I just have a GUEST connection with ActiveSync...I don't actually synchronize between my PDA and my laptop because of some trouble I'm having with ActiveSync v3.7.1. SO I'm having to use version 3.7, and my new iPaq won't allow me to Sync with an older version of ActiveSync. Could this be the problem?

By the way, you can try Hammerskin 1.05.6 VGA..

I've soft-reset so many times I've lost count. You're right though, it has been known to work wonders...just not for me this time.

For some reason your TP was not downloading the information.  This ususally is done by manually from the skin or automatically through Activesync.  If you can not sync your PDA then you got to have a functional skin.  If you still want try 2B2 skin, tap the number 1 icon at the right, it will bring you to the main page.  At the right hand side, You should see a red "Updated" just under the calendar.  Tap on it and again a red "Updating" image will show up, that means TP id refreshing.  After it disappears, then check the file again.

As for Hammerskin, check under your nose... I am kidding..

When you were at the main page of thr forum, did you see Hammerskin?  It is just under the thread you posted.  Or just click.

I noticed two other things that you might wish to address... First... the date on the weather page... it would probably look better if you used center alignment for the dates... instead of left hand alignment.

The other thing that I noticed... is that the colors on all the meters are purple...  Should they represent the status of the meter... green for good, yellow for caution and red as a warning...?

Overall a nice start to a new skin.

Sorry about the text size.  That's hard coded in the skin file.  Of course you can change that to your taste.  But it will take some recoding of the skin to fit your needs.  I'm old and I like small text for my eyes.  One thing I would suggest about all the colors, try changing your theme.  Many of your text colors are based on what your theme is using.  Most text in skins are NOT hard coded but they are in some areas.  So, based on your theme, it may not match up/look good.  Try one of the themes that were sent in the original archive.  I think all of them should work.  But I'm not certain due to you running SE.  I'm still using FE.  We both are running in True VGA mode so it should work though.   UKs screenshot looks better because he has a light color background in his theme.  Load another theme and I think you'll see what I'm talking about.
