I waited as long as I could to see if uk was going to translate the 1.05.2 to VGA - couldn't wait.

I have the skin completed with the exception of the radar screen. I was hoping someone out there could VGAize the radar images??? Is anyone working on that??

 Wichtel indicated that he will prepare VGA version, (probably 1.06).  That was the reason I did not do it.  He just got his iPAQhx4700 and will have all VGA icons for next release (my impresion was by Christmas).  Also I might have something that can "zoom", "drag-and-move", "scroll" the radar image.  I will talk to Wichtel to see he is willing to incpoporate into next release.  This is more for the users using QVGA device.

Currently I have the radar "screen" unchanged, thus shows up very small. I want to get the images d/l before I re-mapped/size everything.

I get the radar.exe  to d/l the images but I can't see them.

Also, I have the stocks exactly like witchels .txt file and radar.exe is d/l them also. but when I hit the button on the RSS screen, the screen locks up.

To take advantage of VGA, we need go for the large size of image for weather and stock.  For image, I suggested image from weather.com

Did you mean to small or you can not locate them?

Do you see the "chart" icon?  It will show up very small if you used QVGA one.  Also double check the position of buttons are adjusted right.

Currently the Radar shows up very small - I wanted to verify this works before I changed it. Once I can see them then I will change the file names where "_small_" to "_medium_" or "_large_".

The images are d/l and are the small ones but they are not showing up on the radar screen.

I resized the chart icon just to see this work - and it shows up and reacts when clicked - however once clicked, the RSS screen is locked up. I have to click one of the side buttons to make T+ work again.

In the stock section, there are no side buttons.  The way out is "Back to RSS" and the image button is "imagebutton,306,502,zeitumschaltung_button.png,,12,4,0,1" (in VGA).  Do you have "zeitumschaltung_button.png" in VGA? If not the button might not work..


As for radar image, again the images are in Radar1 and Radar folder.   Since you asked the VGA version of "green" radar, I ssumed you don't see it one screen, therefore you can not go to the radar page.  However, you should be able to asccess radar album by tap "Menu"-->"Satellite&Radar".

Where are your folders?  They need to be in: your base folder/Images/Radar and /base folder/Images/Radar1

That is where they are at - heck I even created them in the \Program Files\Today Plus  base path

Ok, in that case, you should have \Program Files\TodayPlus\Images\Radar1, right?

Ok, what is your base folder?  Did you put your skin in iPAQ File Store?

I'm sorry - i have been resizing the stock stuff.

my base folder is \SD Card\today Plus\

That is where all of my other images are located. The stock charts are showing up so I am at a loss....

I am POSITIVE I have something jacked up... actually I am sure of it, just wish I knew what it was!
