I have to ask why? This does seem kind of ridiculous to me for a board that provides various types of support for a program to not allow you to talk about the program. This reminds me of the movie "The Village", "Those we don't speak of". ROTFLMAO

Where is the developer of the program or who has "rights" to it now?

 Just like you, I came cross to this program after the strom.  My best suggestion is to looking foward.

OK. I looked through every post on every page. I saw a problem of immaturity on both sides.

So from all that I guess I can conclude that TD+ is not going to be in development at all beyond what is done here. I haven't started looking at TodaysXtra yet but am heading there now. Thanks for taking the time to point me in the right direction so I can get up to speed on why such a great program has no updates.

ROTFLMAO. Well, on with the....ummmm...."Those we don't speak of" thing then. Is there ANY software that is actively being developed that offers "the whole package" like TodayPlus?

 I would like to share with you my thoughts.  

 If you compare the TodayPlus today to it was 6 - 8 months ago, you will see a big difference.  With the efforts of the talent skinners (Wichtel, ZapMe1, Geezer, Timmy, Broesel, ripper, ..etc  sorry if I miss any), the level has been pushed to another level.  Certainly, we can not forget all the senior members to make the contribution before.   Yes, the reality is still the lack of support from the original developer, SRS.  How long the TodayPlus can go on is still questionable..  At least for me, I enyoying what I am doing right now and continue to explore the potential of TodayPlus.  The rest I only can see what it might lead to.  One day, TodayPlus will no longer can be run on the new OS and eventually go to the history.  On the other hand, maybe SRS will return and give us a new one....

 For the enthusiasm like me, always feel "isolated".  Everytime, a TodayPlus skin shot was posted on Brighthand, you will expect the hot criticism flying around.  The wonder job all these members done here and other place could not be recognized by the rest of the community.  Sad, indeed, but I don't think it stops any of these skinners.  Maybe I am fool or  stubborn, or even stupid but I am happy..

Couple of things

1. I love the Hammerskin and have modified it a little (graphically) to match with a WisbarAdv skin I found. Don't quite know what I would do without the program now that I have found it. LOL

2. How many developers frequent this board? What is the possibility of starting a NEW project based on what everyone likes about Today+? SRS created a great program that has no comparison available. So:

Why not make something to compare it too?
Why not send out a call to any PPC program developers that would like to start an open source project?

You don't have to be a developer to develop a program. Any manager can develop a program by managing the coordination of the developers themselves.

That was the goal of TodayXtra.  

I feel with the talent that we currently have here on the forum, I don't think we are to far off of something being started here.
