Revised Slider skin with a Launcher Region

Well, I had some time today so I tweaked the standard slider "skin" that is supplied with the latest version of TodayPlus v0.9.8.  The changes I have made for the most part are pretty basic.

 - Added support for 3 weather feeds
 - Adjusted the layout of the Uptime information, no more overlap
 - Using the retired BBC icons
 - Added a Launcher section.  It supports 2 groups of 11 shortcuts.  It is using the proposed naming method in srs's post of this thread.
To use the new launcher section, you will have to "name" your shortcuts in your config.txt as follows:

I love this skin, but for some reason the POOM section does not work with latest version of TD+ 0.10.0

Can you take a look at your skin and update for 0.10.0?

I am not to sure why it would have a problem with POOM.  I didn't change anything in the POOM section.  I just really added the Launcher region.

I haven't had time to install v0.10.0 yet.  I will see what I can do this evening after I put my little one to bed (she is 9 1/2 months old).

SRS indicated at one time that he was going to move the POOM settings out of the config file and include them in the skin.  I suspect that might be the problem.  I'll figure it out later.

As I suspected, srs did indeed include the POOM settings in the "skin."  He also has included the Launcher setting in the latest Slider "skin."  I really didn't see a need to revise my tweaked version, however I said I would so here you go.  I have revised my skin to support 3 groups of 11 shortcuts.

I'm using your tweaked skin and it is just what I wanted, well it would be if the date size at the top looked like your screen shot without the clock icon AND and the TP icons stayed permanently on.

Do you know where this setting is controlled?

You caught me.  I put together my tweaked slider skin for v0.10.x in like 5 min.  I'll see what I can do to modify the skin for v0.10.x to be more like the one in the screen capture.  It shouldn't be hard to make the changes you asked for.

Per your request, I have revised my tweaked Slider "skin" for version v0.10.0.  The POOM section is still not like the screen capture, but everything else is pretty close.  Even though the "skin" says it is for version v0.10.0, it works fine with v.0.10.1.

Just downloaded the tweaked skin and it's perfect.  Even the date and icons at the top are sorted too.

Quick question.  I am using your skin.  For some reason, it does not seem to use all of the today screen when weather, agenda, system meters, and launcher are activated.  It seems to leave about a 1/4 inch of empty space at the bottom of the today screen.  Do you see this as well?

Which version of TodayPlus are you running?  If you are running TodayPlus v0.10.x, are you using my revised skin?

There seems to be a bug

If you select and de-select the launcher icon the quick launch programs remain at the bottom regardless of the state of the icon.  I would try to fix it if I knew where - I'm fairly new to TD+.

Also how do you control which clocks are displayed and in which order - I know it is only going to display 5, I've got 8 defined in my config but it seems to display them in some strange order - and now after tweaking the skin it is displaying the name of the weather region selected - I think I've broken it!

Ok, I figured out what was wrong.  I originally, in v.0.9.8, had the Launcher defined as region 15.  When I combined the POOM section for v0.10.0, region 15 was already in use.  I renamed the Launcher region to 16 and I forgot to change the "imagebutton" regions.  The sections (there are 2 places) that looks like this:

Ok, to adjust the clocks you are displaying, you need to make some changes.  You can either modify the skin or change the numbering of the "time" defined in your config file.  Currently, my tweaked skin is displaying "time" for your system time, 4, 5, 6 and 7 (in that order).   To change the skin, here the basic section to look for:

Where <x> and <y> is the position and <n> is the "time" number to display.  So to display "time" 3 in the second clock, it should look like this:
