can I make it JUST display the weather?

I dont mean to hurt anyones feelings, but i'd like to have TodayPlus ONLY display the weather, and nothing else.  No toolbars or anything.  Is there any way to do this throught eh config file?  Thanks

Not with the config file.  You would need to make a weather only skin file.  I believe you can use the standard slider skin, just delete all other regions except for the weather region.  It might take a little tinkering, but you should be able to get it to work fine.

I used to think the same thing, a weather only region.  But then again, it probable want take long before you want to do everything that TodayPlus offers.

got it, thanks, works great....now, how do I get rid of that annoying selection box that goes around the first weather entry?  Also, does anyone have a defualt slider.txt lying around, I want to add a link to activesync somewhere.  Thanks

As far as having a link to ActiveSync, just place a shortcut wherever you find room.  It should look something like this, assuming you have apps-1-1 set to ActiveSync in your config file:

button,<x>,<y>,16,16,-1,0,%apps-1-1
(Where <x> and <y> is the position you would like in pixels.)

ok, I added it, and I can see the activesync icon, but it stays in the upper lefthand section of today plus, and no matter what I do, it stays there....ive posted the zip files in case anywent thinks they know how to fix it.  Thanks again

Here you go, a boring Weather only region with a signal shortcut.  

I had to use the "Washington Post" icons in the below screen capture, the BBC icons don't show up on a dark background.

thanks! works great!   I know its boring...theres just too much going on with the rest of TP running, but really, a great plugin nonetheless (especially since its free, and the community here is great).  Thanks again!

To follow the excepted standards for shortcut naming, in the version I release, it will be for apps-1-1 and not quick1.

Well between Christmas shopping and wrapping, I was able to find the time to add the "refresh" button and do some minor format tweaking.  I also changed the single shortcut so that it is now for "apps-1-1" and not "quick1".

There seems to be some type of bug that I can't seem to nail down.  If you are viewing the forecast for the last day, tapping the screen doesn't seem to take you back.  I'll try to find some time today and figure out what is causing that, unless some else can figure out first.
