I downloaded the latest version today, and update the config file to display the weather in Boston.

The city display name and time are correct, but the forecast seems to be the old one for Texas (wish it were that warm here). I did a soft reset, etc, but still no luck.

Thanks very much for the help and nice program. I have an e755.

mkrigsman,

you have to delet every thing in the buffer folder under todayplus, then once you resiync it should be correct.

Did you forget to change the zip code?

I deleted the buffer folder and it all worked. Thanks. Now I get to see the bad weather icons I was expecting to see.

Thanks very much

I am wondering why the rest of this thread was deleted. It was relevant to the question and could potentially help another reader. That is the whole reason I spent my time to post it to begin with.

I do not thing it is right for moderators to delete whole sections of a thread especially when it is relevant to the topic at hand. Let the users skip over what they dont need.

How can you say it wasnt the issue at hand. The whole time we discussed how the system fetches the weather. After reading those couple of posts anyone would know how it works. Even you learned something: not only is it possible to reproduce this problem when the buffer hasn't yet timed out but also when the zip code is wrong. I know that it is not a big deal for this little issue but I know if I were the newbie this information would be very valuable to me. Please don't delete sections of threads unless they are way off topic.

Thanks
