Is there a way to only choose which holidays to have in calendar?

You can choose US vs. Canadien, however, after that you pretty much load it into Outlook and then delete what you don't want.  They tend to add a lot of advertising to each Outlook entry - The following is an example for Mardi Gras.

I'm sorry, but the HTML didn't transfer.  I do like the sports info because it gives you the local and national broadcasts, if available, of whichever sports teams you choose.  Overall, it's nice, I've been using it for years, but I go through and edit as I see fit.

Yes I did do that, just a pain going thru it all, but I guess you do it once a year for the holidays. I don't do the sports because it takes up a lot of memory.

Using Outlook, you can already just display holidays in your calendar.  Although with Outlook 2002 and earlier version, only holidays through the end of 2005 are include.  (See this statement from M$).

To display holidays, while running Outlook, do the following steps (steps below are for Outlook 2002, I am not sure if they are the same for earlier versions of Outlook):

1) Select "Options" from the "Tools" Menu.
2) Select "Calendar Options" under the "Preference" tab
3) Select "Add Holidays" and select the countries' holidays you wish to display.
4) Select "OK"

Tip: You can also add costume "holidays" (could be race schedules too) and holidays that occur later then 2005 by editing the "outlook.hol" file (for Outlook 2002 and later, earlier version use "outlook.txt") using a text editor like WordPad.  Just copy the format of the other holidays listed in the file.  After adding the "holidays" you will need to "reload" the holidays in outlook for the additions to take place.[/u]

Thanks, I had already done that, and had to remove the double entries. I did the download and setup forgeting I had them already. To much on my little mind.

If you are concerned about space in memory. You can specify in the AvtiveSync settings for calendar to sync only  a limited number of future weeks (e.g. 4) and past week (e.g.1).

That is not exactly free, It is persay money wise but not advetising wise. and i would rather pay then see a bunch of ads.
