I am new to this!  If I am correct, that inorder to refresh the weather data I must delete the buffer files everytime I want a weather update. It would be nice to have a button under the weather to delete these files or have the refresh button do this operation.

joelw135,

No you do not have to delet anything, when you sync up it will download new weather and rrs feeds, and you can just tap the refresh button. The only time you have to delet the buffer info is when you change your city info or you'r rss info.

Well I tried that, and it does not upload a new report.  Is there something I have to change?

Are you behind a fire wall? What does it do des it try to update, does the text turn gray when you do? Did you change the config file to you zip code? It should update, It is setup up to update every hour, if you try to update before an hour of last update then no it will not update.

Ok, I think I understand, that the 60 in front of city is the amount of minutes before it updates.  Can I change that to a lower number? Thanks.

Thank you for all the help.  Now to find a US news link to set up instead of BBC.  Do you know of a RSS?

I am going to move this to help + support.

srs

don't set the weather feed to less than 60 minutes.  the weather feed is only updated once every hour and too much bandwidth on their servers will cause the feed to be shut down.

Sorry i didnt know that. I did know that they only updated every hour.

oh, its no problem. that update interval is there mostly for the rss feeds, and I probably shouldn't have left it in there for the weather.

Well it's kind of good becouse i set mine to update every 2 hours. Unless you can hard code it to not update less then an hour?
