Help with my first skin?

After two days, I've finally "finished" coding my first skin.  And by coding, I mean thiefing from others.  I made a few small changes, such as removing the current weather conditions and adding an extra non-clickable day, and making the Agenda section look like PIToday.  I intend to change the battery section, but that will be tonight or tomorrow.  Anyway, I'm having a weird problem...  Here's the default screen:



There's a weird artifact on the day text (Monday in this case) when it first starts up.  If there's a refresh, it goes away.

The update problem is a known one. srs plans to fix it in the next version.

Thanks for the reply.  And now, I've finished changing the buttons to more match my ICBar and background, plus, I didn't really care for the calendar/battery/weather icons.  I'll post what I've done if anyone wants them.



For my next question, I would like to have my POOM section more like PIToday.  Is it in the realm of possibility to have

1.  Category icons from Pocket Informant displayed?
2.  Status colors or icon or something? (Busy/Free/etc.)?
3.  A way to sort tasks?

1) This has already been added to the next version.. (although it wont be automatic... you will have to specify the category icon for each category in the config)

Actually, if you use PI, the category icon will kinda be automatic.  PI changes the name of the icon to your category names, so as long as you specify them once, any changes should appear automatic.

Is there a link to donate money?  I can't right now, seeing that I got laid off 6 weeks ago, but once I start working again, I'd gladly pay.
