Adding another city to the weather

Currently have two cities on the weather bar. They work fine. I want to add 1 (or more) cities. I followed the procedure outlined:

city,3,60,01450,Groton,f

essentially adding another city in the US, with zip code and name, to the info in the config file...I deleted all in the buffer and re-synched.

The new city (number 3) information shows up in the buffer but not on the display. I can use the small arrow to change cities, but again the display will only show the original two...

Any ideas?  Thanks!

What version of TodayPlus are you running and skin are you running?

One thing you can try is to change the "numcities" line in your config file from 2 to 3.  It should look like this:

Just downloaded last week...I read on another post what code to change in the skin, but not sure whick text to change- text in analog-weather or slider (under skin folder) or both..
Where would I find your suggestion / line of text?

It should be in the config.txt file, right above the cities' settings.

Ok, now in the config file...I don't have "var,numcities...above the cities. I try typing it in but I get a error message about not having space/memory...Any clues?

If the line isn't already there, then either the version of TodayPlus you are running or, the skin you are running doesn't support it.  As far as the memory thing, that should have nothing to do with TodayPlus directly.

Ok so, let's start over again.  What version of TodayPlus are you running?  Also, what skin (Slider, OSX, Calendar, etc.)?

TodayPlus ver 9.8b downloaded on 10/31/03...Skinwise I believe I'm using slider...in the skin folder their are two:   analog-weather  and slider.  (I am such a newby!) I'm a quick learner, and, having said that, also no when to "stop" and not mess things up, especially in config. files.

I am now back to  two cities with weather...I get three cities data in the buffer, but no display....

Now that I know what version of TodayPlus and the skin you are running, I can really help you out.  See this post for your solution.

Edit: You can also try my tweaked slider skin for v0.9.8.  It has support for 3 weather cites already.  It also has a launcher region.  See this thread.
