Reason to upgrade

I am using TD+ V0.9.8 with a customized Calendar skin and I am happy with it. I don't need anything else for now(however envy those fancy battery metters, SD, CF meter, pictureshow, etc.). How ever I feel sometime my PPC no longer gives me a snappy feeling like it used to, when I tap on start button, it takes longer time, when I tap on an arrow button of the launcher, it hesitates, my POOM shows updating...for a couple of secondes and I can do nothing, etc.

Please let me know, if I upgrade to later version, would I see any improvement in performance or just see cosmetically bells and whisles that I might not need and my experience also tells me the more features you get, the more resources you consume and less performance you will get. So please help me to make a decision!

You could try the newer version and if it is not to your liking uninstall it. I have not noticed any significant slow down on my PPC. I also like the idea of being able to add in things like LordTwisted's Battery+ and Arbitrajeu's Sysinfoplus. To me this is the best thing of TodayPlus. you can make it do as much or as little as you want.
