What flavor of code are the skins written in?

I've done a little coding here and there and would like to play with the skin code but may want (or actually need) to get some reference material besides the Reference Guide.

Thanks,
Dave

I wrote a little tutorial on creating skins a while back.

let me add some stuff and I will post it.

srs, the tutorial is great.  Thank you for taking the time to write it.  I hope you will eventually add to it. scott51

I agree!  Very helpful!!

And please add to it...maybe the basic concepts of regions, the steps required in plain english and then in code terminology, etc.   Armed with that and the Ref Guide, most anyone can make great strides.   8)

Back to the flavor of code...it's not java, not VB...is it your own invention?   :?

Thanks again and again,
Dave

srs

yeah basically my own invention....

it started out as just positioning weather data, and as the plugin grew more and more things were added, modified, and removed, so the syntax is not always consistant or very "nice", but the skin reference should help...

Well, you're makin' a lot of people happy with it!   :D

Keep up the good work!!

Happy Holidays,
Dave
