How do I set up Radar?

I have upgraded to Hammerskin 1.05. I am having difficulty in setting up the radar section.

Where do I put radar.exe?

I am not getting any images at this time. Any help is appriciated!

Hi Boiler_81

Welcome to the TP Forum !!  

Radar.exe & Radar.txt needs to be in the same folder !!  Put them in your  "\My Documents"  folder..  You'll also want to modify the Radar.txt file for your area where you live !!

Post back if your still having problems !!

Thanks for the help! I have Radar.exe and Radar.txt in the proper location. I have UK_Skinners USA weather.com text file. I run radar.exe and I get 10 images downloaded to the Radar1 folder. However, I can't see any of them in the skin.

Boiler_81,

To view the radar images, go to the weather page, tap "menu" on the bottom right, and choose "Satellite & Radar" !!

You should see your images !!

..for me, I edited the radar text to save the images to radar folder instead of radar1 and they showed up in the skin. Maybe that will work for you?

The image in Radar1 folder can be shown by select "Menu"-->"Satellite&Radar" in weather page.

The images of cities are in Radar folder and can be viewed by tap the "green" radar icon from the weather page.

Yes the folders exist. The images which came with the skin are in both. In addition there are downloaded images in radar1

I bet you didn't have folders (Radar1 and Radar) or there is no file in the folder.

No they are there. I took your NA txt file for the radar. I then go the the radar.exe file in file explorer and run it. It says it is downloading files. I then go the the radar1 folder and see new images in the folder. There are no new images in the radar folder.

Yes, the ones I posted are only for radar album and only will be downloaded to radar1 folder.  So you were right, you should not have any image in radar folder.

If you can see images in Radar1 folder, then you should be able to see them by select "Menu"-->"Satellite & Radar" from the weather page.  If you don't see anything, the only possibility is your Radar1 folder is not in the right place.  Where do you put your TodayPlus, your base folder pathway?

The path is as follows using my PC: Mobile Device/My Pocket PC/Program Files/Today Plus/Images/Radar1

There are 10 .jpg files in the directory named 1.jpg through 10.jpg
